democrats sweep elections

With the situation in Iraq continuing to deteriate and a slew of scandals plaguing the republican party, Americans responded by voting democrat in Tuesday's elections. The democrats offered little in the way of plans or alternatives for our country, but instead succeeded by the current unhappiness with the bush administration and the republican controlled congress by the majority of Americans. Offering voters a change in direction, democrats failed to properly elucidate what that entails.

In response to the overwhelming victory of the democrats, donald rumsfeld resigned as secretary of defence. In the minds of many rumsfeld has botched the war in iraq on all fronts. With the many changes occurring in capitol hill this week, one hopes that both parties will see past their personal enmity and join together in their desire to correct the direction of our nation.

No more bushit!

Half way through his second term as president george dubya proves for the nth time just how out of touch he has become. As the situation in Iraq continues to approach all-out anarchy, our president decides this is the perfect time to congratulate secretary of defence rumsfeld on a fantastic job.

Whatever dubya is smoking, I want some. It's gotta be something killer to completely distort his perceptions of reality.

I've linked to the blog called the rooftop blog because I was told to.
